At Top Shelf Chimneys, we built this company with a simple goal: to bring honesty, professionalism, and true expertise back to the chimney industry.
Before entering the trade, I spent years in the restaurant industry, where I learned the value of hard work, accountability, and customer service. Eventually, I decided to pursue a career where craftsmanship and integrity mattered just as much. I started at the ground level as a mortar hand, earned my certification as a CSIA Certified Technician, and later became a project manager overseeing complex chimney and fireplace projects.
With more than 15 years of hands-on experience, I’ve seen too many homeowners receive incomplete information, unnecessary repair recommendations, or evaluations from technicians who lacked proper training. That never felt right to me, and it became the reason Top Shelf Chimneys was created.
We believe homeowners deserve honest assessments, clear communication, practical solutions, and quality workmanship from start to finish.
